 he Copper Expert Committee will be held at Thermotechnical Institute (TI) 
 of KU Leuven in Belgium (Heverlee Kasteelpark Arenberg 41\, 3001 Heverlee\
 , Belgium).\nOn October 8\, we are planning a full day of presentations fr
 om leading institutes and companies\, covering key topics in the copper in
 dustry.\nOn October 9\, participants are invited to join a site visit to t
 he Aurubis Olen plant\, located approximately one hour from Leuven.\nAurub
 is Olen\, part of the Aurubis Group\, is one of the key copper production 
 sites in Europe and plays a central role in the company’s refining and r
 ecycling operations. Located in Olen\, Belgium\, the plant specializes in 
 the production of fire-refined anodes\, which are an essential intermediat
 e product in the copper refining process.\nAt the Olen site\, fire-refined
  anodes are further processed using electrolytic refining to produce high-
 purity copper cathodes (Cu-CATH-1). These cathodes meet the highest qualit
 y standards and are used in a wide range of applications — from electric
 al engineering and electronics to renewable energy and e-mobility. In add
 ition to primary copper refining\, Aurubis Olen is also a key site for rec
 ycling. The plant processes a variety of secondary raw materials\, contrib
 uting significantly to Aurubis' strategy for a circular and sustainable me
